If you’ve been climbing at the gym recently, you probably noticed that we’re going digital. We have a dedicated laptop that allows us to back up our files and logs every night, plus we can stream music to keep the gym bumpin’ while we climb.
The YKCC would like to say a big thank you to SSI Micro donating the internet connection that makes it all possible. We’ve now got a sign to make that official. Thanks!
The YKCC would like to thank our sponsors for the Midnight Sun Climbing Competition. We couldn’t put on this event – or continue to grow the sport of climbing in Yellowknife – without the support of these organizations.

Additional thanks to MooseFM for help with advertising.
YKCC had a busy night of cleaning on Thursday as part of the City of Yellowknife’s Spring Clean Up. Olexin Park has never looked so good.
Thank you to all of the volunteers who came out to clean and rocked your YKCC shirts!
Welcome to the information hub for YKCC’s 2015 climbing competition. All information posted about the competition will be linked here, so look no further than the comprehensive list below.
Congratulations to our Air North raffle winner Jeddy Kehler, who has won a trip for two to Whitehorse.
Jeddy had an excellent morning of climbing in the youth competition, and can be seen on the right, bouncing up a storm while his father Monte accepts the prize from our president Susan.
Many thanks to Air North for providing our grand prize for the second year in a row.
Enjoy your trip, Jeddy!
Thank you to all of our competitors who came out to compete over the weekend in the 2015 Midnight Sun Climbing Competition. We had an excellent turnout and witnessed some really strong climbing. Some routes still remain unconquered by any climbers, so there are still lots of reasons to keep coming to the gym as the weather warms up.
